Art & Culture

Everyone has a connection with architecture. The structures we live in, shop in, learn in and work in. The cities we navigate have landmark buildings and shops we pass by so regularly that we hardly see them. The structures we engage hold our memories, good and bad, and over time we can look back and see our life experiences in these buildings.

Los Angeles is my greatest muse.

The architecture here tells the story of this city like layers of time. One block can have so much to say. I'm really attracted to color, hand painted signs, small details from the 50's/60's design style. I love looking at places and wondering about them. I want people to leave things alone. But, life goes on and buildings come down. That is why I do this series. To hold on to the history and places of this city.
